Scope
To provide any support or assistance in youth-led initiatives, events, and workshops.

To work with newcomer youth in the community, learn about the needs of newcomer youth, and implement activities to address needs.

Responsibilities

Learn and understand the agency's mission and objective, and carry out volunteer work according to the agency program expectations
Work with team members in completing tasks to support youth initiatives, such as planning workshops, events, and community volunteering
Be aware of cultural differences and ensure that the rights of all are respected
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to be creative in planning and organizing workshops, presentations, events, and other initiatives
Enthusiasm to promote programs, workshops, and events
Effective communication within a team environment
Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs and issues facing newcomers
An interest in being involved in the community and volunteer work
Punctual and responsible

A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
