    Description

    Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

    Company: Maple Leaf Foods

    Description: The Senior AR Analyst is responsible for leading and guiding a small team of AR coordinators. They will set job expectations and conduct annual employee performance evaluations. The Senior AR Analyst will oversee the collection and resolution of outstanding items within a specific account portfolio. Ensuring team compliance with company policies and procedures, they will provide assistance in addressing collection and deduction issues, as well as aiding in monthly and ad hoc reporting for their manager.

    Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

    • Manage and mentor team members
    • Set team expectations and targets
    • Conduct annual employee performance reviews
    • Oversee collection and deduction resolution matters
    • Identify system/process enhancements
    • Prepare Monthly & Ad Hoc reports to support manager
    • Communicate professionally, both written and verbal
    • Manage a high volume of email and phone communication
    • Utilize relationships across departments for issue resolution
    • Proactively identify problems and deliver action plans
    • Drive accountability by addressing delinquency issues
    • React and prioritize based on business needs
    • Consistently meet or exceed established goals
    • Monitor customer behavior for risk indicators
    • Work independently and follow company policies
    • Develop on-boarding content for new team members
    • Use Process Improvement techniques for problem-solving
    • Optimize collection activities
    • Achieve or surpass DSO targets
    • Support AR team and customers
    • Minimum 5 years AR experience required
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance (preferred)
