The Field Service Representative (FSR) will be responsible for laboratory testing in support of customer operations at the Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions performance laboratory in Sarnia, Ontario.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Perform chemical/physical testing of water and hydrocarbon fluids, including but not limited to wet chemistry, photometric, and specialty analytical test methods
- Adhere to the analytical and quality control protocols accurately, timely, and safely
- Collect and review generated data prior to reporting
- Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, sample containers and consumables
- Maintain laboratory workspace in compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and requirements
- Receive and handle samples delivered to the facility during normal business hours
- Coordinate disposal of waste materials with facility
- Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of instrumentation equipment and maintain required log sheets
- Occasionally assist other Veolia team members with specialty projects and sample collection as needed at customer sites
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Chemical laboratory technology or relevant science diploma
- Experience working in a laboratory environment
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Customer service and results oriented
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Team player, handson, selfmotivated
- Ability to read and interpret instruction manuals, safety manuals, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and or Google Suite programs
- Willing to submit to a background investigation (Criminal record, education, and prior employment), physical evaluation and drug screen
- Possess unrestricted authorization to work in Canada
