The EarthDaily Constellation will combine with the EarthPipeline data processing system to provide unprecedented, scientific-grade data of the world every day, positioning EDA to meet the growing needs of diverse industries.

Our global, enterprise-wide team represents a variety of business lines and is made up of sales, marketing and support professionals, data scientists, software engineers, project managers and finance, HR, and IT professionals.

Do you want to work in the space industry and take part in the planning of events from conception to completion? As an ambitious and creative thinker, the Marketing & Events Coop will proactively collaborate across multiple functions to give EDA a 'stand out' presence at industry events.
PREPARE FOR IMPACT
Reporting to Director of Integrated Marketing, the Marketing & Events Coop will plan, promote and execute EDA's attendance at conferences, trade shows and webinars.
This role will work alongside the Marketing, Sales and Business Development functions to support their efforts prospecting potential new customers, nurturing existing customers and creating as well as accelerating sales pipelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and execute the planning process, promotional efforts and logistics of company events
- Meet with event stakeholders to gain an understanding of each event's objective, determine the scope, and deliver the expected outcome
- Collaboratively plan, organize and produce EDA's presence at events
- Survey, collaborate with and ensure vendors are efficient, productive and deliver on time
- Work with designers and copywriters to develop promotional materials to help ensure the success of each event
- Book venues, order giveaways, coordinate payments, help Sales & BD Teams schedule meetings during the event and meet all eventrelated deadlines
- Help evaluate and set up current and future event venue requirements such as scope, size, design, and graphics
- Provide regular updates to keep event stakeholders informed on the progress and deadlines
- Help develop metrics, track performance, and gather insightful postshow data to enable event stakeholders to effectively determine the success of each event
- Work with Sales & BD Teams to ensure leads are distributed and followed up in a timely manner
- Support Marketing, Sales & BD Teams on adhoc assignments such as supporting digital marketing campaigns, collecting customer insights, updating sales enablement materials, organizing marketing collaterals, tracking media coverage
YOUR PAST MISSIONS
- Currently enrolled in a coop program at a 4year, accredited Canadian university majoring in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline
- Prior coop work terms considered a strong asset
- Experience in event planning and/or digital marketing experience is highly desired
YOUR TOOLKIT
- Computer skills with programs such as MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and approach crossfunctional team members and the willingness to proactively follow up on pending items
- The ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work, perform under pressure, and multitask by managing different event projects at the same time
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
