    POSTING

    In this role, you will:

    • Supports the month end process including recording journal entries, as required, and reconciliations.
    • Assistance preparing monthly financial statements.
    • Contribute to detailed cost center analysis, research irregularities, and propose corrections.
    • Assist the Controller to perform initial financial department audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
    • Assist and support intercompany reconciliation and transfers as required.
    Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP
    • Intermediate Excel skills (including vlookup and formula execution)
    • Use of financial reporting tools including experience with a large ERP, Hyperian (Onestream), Power
    • Ability to travel 10% of time.
    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    • Experience in project accounting
    • Advantage in holding, or close to obtaining, a professional accounting designation – CPA, CMA
    • Knowledge of absorption accounting
    • Knowledge of municipal and industrial water market landscape
