    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    • Determine food presentation based on BEO guidelines and create attractive food displays.
    • Assist with Banquet plate-ups and communicate any needs to the Chef during busy periods.
    • Ensure proper portion sizes, arrangement, and food garnishing.
    • Monitor food quality and quantity, as well as plate and platter presentations.
    • Set up and manage action stations for banquets or buffets.
    • Carve buffet meats according to guest requests.
    • Operate kitchen equipment to prepare various foods.
    • Prepare ingredients, cook food following standards, and handle cold food preparation.
    • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
    • Related Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
    • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
    • License or Certification: Not necessary.

    The salary range for this position is $32.80 to $32.80 per hour.
