Our downtown Vancouver college is looking for an experienced LPN or Registered Nurse and Educator to work as the Program Manager for the Health & Community programs in Vancouver and manage the development and growth of our existing health care portfolio into BC.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, modify and submit provincially approved curriculum for healthrelated programs
- Set up and stock labs as per industry standards
- Develop budgets, schedules, and operational procedures with the college team.
- With program growth, hire, train and manage qualified instructors.
- Work with OIEG's team to develop Moodle content.
- Contribute to further curriculum development, relevance and maintenance.
- Develop, administer assessments and grade student work.
- Organise, lead, attend faculty meetings, inservice training sessions, program, and college activities.
- Supervise students during clinical placements, as needed.
Qualifications and Education
- Current practicing license as a LPN, RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Five (5) years of fulltime nursing experience (preferred)
- Experience in delivering Health Care Assistant Programs in BC
- Knowledge of and/or experience in delivering Mental Health and Support Worker Programs in BC
Skills:
- Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory framework for health programs in BC
- Knowledge of MS Office and database systems

Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months
Pay:
From $76,000.00 per year
