Position Summary

The role of a Media Assistant is to support the team with the preparation of media plans and investments, recommendations, and analysis of campaigns.

This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media planning and/ or media investment team to ensure the client's product is grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain client records, media approval documentation, and media purchase contracts.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate campaign execution and performance.
  • Assist in solving billing discrepancies/queries in a timely manner.
  • Work with media partners to ensure all relevant information is obtained in order to maintain accurate media investments.
  • Support the team with preparing and maintaining accurate and timely billing and budget control reporting.
  • Support the creation of post campaign reports.
  • Source proposals from media partners, as required.
  • Assist with document creation such as presentations, visual summaries, schedules and reports.
  • Develop proficiency with necessary media research tools, systems, and software.
  • Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.

  • Postsecondary education

  • University/ College degree in advertising, marketing or similar is an asset.
