HANDYMAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Hari Home Services is currently seeking a handyman with at least 4 years of experience working on day-to-day maintenance of home.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong proficiency in residential property maintenance work such as carpentry, painting, drywall, tiling, flooring, furniture assembling, heavy lifting, appliance repair and installation, bathroom and kitchen improvements, electrical work, and other property maintenance inside and outside of the house.
Communicate effectively and provide thorough information to customers on step-by-step process of the project.
Work independently and/or with team members effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have strong proficiency in most of the following tasks: Carpentry; Painting; Drywall repair/installation; Tiling; Flooring; Appliance repair and installation; Bathroom and kitchen repair and improvement; Nonlicensed plumbing and electrical works.
- Have minimum of 4 years of experience working as a handyman for residential homes.
- Have appropriate knowledge and certification.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Pass criminal background checks.
- Have your personal tools to complete all tasks.
YOUR SKILLS:
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate effectively; fluent in English.
- A team player; works respectfully with their teammates.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physically able to complete tasks that require lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Ability to solve problems analytically.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Adhere to WorkSafe BC Guidelines.
- Ability to complete the tasks accurately and properly the first time.
JOB TYPE
- Casual/Oncall
- Contract
SCHEDULE:
- Hours will be based on client booking.
- Day Shifts, Evening Shifts.
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends.
SALARY:
- $30.00 to $35.00 an hour.
- Annual bonus pays.

WORK LOCATION:
- Remote Work.
- The position requires commuting to different locations and carrying tools and equipment. It is preferrable to have a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license as well as vehicle insured for work use.
