Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support a Hybrid Microsoft Exchange and Office 36
  • Staff onboarding support
  • Hardware procurement
  • Hardware and software configuration
  • PC/laptop configuration and deployment
  • Provide Second/Third Level Support for Infrastructure Related Inquiries
  • Maintain and support a VMware ESX environment
  • Maintain and support a Nimble Storage SAN environment
  • Support enterprise backup and recovery processes and disaster recovery plan
  • Assist in updating disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Server management and monitoring
  • Network management and monitoring
  • Maintain and support a VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN environment
  • Maintain and support a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop environment
  • Manage company web presence and domain hosting accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • 5 years of experience in similar role
  • Certificate or degree from a recognized postsecondary institution in information technology is preferred

Qualifications

  • Microsoft MCSE
  • Cisco CCNA or Network+ or equivalent
  • Quick learner
  • Desire to help others, positive attitude and demeanor
  • Passion for all things cool and ITYou may even have a test environment at home where you play with all the latest and greatest tools

Work Environment

  • We offer a hybrid work environment
  • To provide support to our Head Office users as well as support our DR environment, this role will be filled from the Langley / Vancouver area
