Housekeeper - Port Severn, Canada - Triumph Group of Companies
Description
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, our Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning the hotel guest rooms per the established standards. The hours of work for this role are 9 am to 5 pm. This is a physically demanding, yet rewarding role also focused on providing exceptional guest service to hotel guests.Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the guest rooms including full kitchens, fireplaces, balconies, bathrooms.
- Maintaining a high level of guest service and ensure rapid and professional response to all guest requests.
- Making beds, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Working on own or in teams as required.
- Participating in deep cleaning of hotel guest rooms.
- Assisting with cleaning of other hotel common areas as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous professional cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent observational skills.
- The ability to adhere to safe work practices.
- The ability to understand and communicate in written and spoken English.
- Physical fitness and dexterity.
- Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork.
