Description

As a purchasing and procurement advisor, you help finalize contractual agreements with the organization's partners for the purchase and rental of goods and services.

You may be responsible for one or more sub-specialties, such as the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services, asset management, contract and partnership management, inventory and restocking, outsourced service management, and governance.

You advise and assist clients and partners and develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You propose recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization's objectives and priorities. You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields and maintain business relationships with providers. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze and identify client needs. Help diagnose issues and needs to determine target outcomes
  • Analyze information, conduct studies, carry out monitoring, write reports and make recommendations
  • Coordinate efforts to achieve objectives and execute action plans. Carry out operational follow-up and monitoring, including monitoring of external provider performance
  • Help develop, enforce, update and improve the policies, processes, standards and models that support your unit's projects and initiatives

What you bring to the table- Bachelor's degree in a related field- A minimum of two years of relevant experience- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Knowledge of French is required- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
