Responsibilities:


Technical Writer

THE ROLE:

This role's main objective is to create and transform our internal engineering-centric documents for external consumptions.


Through ensuring easy access & improving the ability to consume and understand our technologies, this role will allow for an increased pace of onboarding and adopting our solutions both internally and for customers/partners.


Helping us translate complex technology concepts into digestible reading that does not lose its essence in written and/or video format.

Further, you will craft customer facing technical documents, enabling quick uptake of our products and technologies in the hands of our clients.


In this position, you will be working as a member of a high-performing team, which will have you working with teams across multiple sites.


THE PERSON:


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Craft customer facing technical documents to enable quick uptake of our products and technologies in the hands of our clients
  • Knowledge manager to support all ATG technologies in information sharing and fast onboarding
  • Plan and create content to better support program delivery and customer acceptance
  • Edit and proofread documents written by others and coach nonwriters to improve their writing skills
  • Reviewing & updating our documentation storage and access structure to improve efficiency
  • Reviewing & updating our documentation templates and setting expectation for each type of document
  • Setting and monitoring KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics to gauge the quality and completeness of documentation to better understand, isolate and fix documentation related issues
  • Evaluating and implementing documentation sharing solutions including access control as needed
  • Working with Technical Program Managers and Managers for all programs to understand the documentation gaps

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:


  • Handson and supervising role of technical writing experience in a fastpaced semiconductor industry
  • Direct working experiences in computer vision, AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning), and graphics preferred
  • Able to create content from scratch and architect information sharing solutions
  • Able to provide a portfolio of writing samples for review
  • Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Background in computer science

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
