Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for owning the positioning, analysis and go-to-market success for the AccelByte platform. This includes bridging the gap of technical product knowledge and communicating the value of our products to target segments.

This role is highly strategic and best suited for someone who is passionate about creating a deep understanding of the market landscape and enjoys diving headfirst into industry trends, buyer personas and customer use cases, yet is eager to directly build creative marketing initiatives that resonate deeply with our audiences.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Manager is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Develop deep understanding of AccelByte's target audience and customers through research and engage with users and prospects regularly; build compelling buyer personas and value propositions to shape all marketing and sales messaging
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with sales, customer success, and product to build and evangelize relevant messaging, positioning and gotomarket strategies to drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue growth
  • Coordinate user and competitive research—both qualitative and quantitative—to better understand our users and competitive landscape, and then turn those results into actionable insights
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to drive consistent and differentiated positioning through training, marketing collateral, and sales enablement aids (e.g pitch decks, cheat sheets, demo scripts)
  • Act as business partner to and collaborate with the product team to develop business value messaging of technical capabilities of the AccelByte platform
  • Ability to create clear and compelling messages and a willingness to roll up the sleeves to create externallyfacing assets or internal deliverables
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in a marketing function, preferably product marketing, in the software as a service (SaaS) industry or at least 3 years of management consulting experience
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, both for internal audiences and customerfacing messaging
  • Proven track record of marketing to B2B audiences with a customercentric approach, and you are passionate about technology and articulating how technology can accomplish their goals
  • Proven track record in working with cross functional teams, getting buyin and executing marketing plans, and staying focused on "getting it done" in a fastmoving startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated capabilities interpreting data/qualitative research and distilling into actionable key takeaways
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts with meticulous attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and expectations of customers
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
  • Experience or strong interest in gaming industry preferred
