Position Overview


Reporting to the Manager, Fund Operations the
Associate, Fund Operations (Bilingual) role is accountable for a variety of administrative and project related tasks that provide professional support.

This position ensures processes and control standards are followed, while seeking to determine, develop, and participate in the implementation of improvement opportunities, contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and prepare all necessary documents for the monthly closings and distributions.
  • Oversee and maintain the investor and advisor data bases and ensure all necessary information is accurately filled out.
  • Attend all meetings ensuring detailed notes or meeting minutes are completed.
  • Assist with external stakeholder initiatives as it relates to dealing representatives, registered trust companies, unitholders, business partners, etc.
  • Prioritize time commitments and actionable items.
  • Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, or unitholder implications.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Ability to contribute as a team member.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

Requirements:


  • Bilingual English/French. Ability to communicate in both English and French (oral and written).
  • 13 years of Advisor Services/Operations experience in a fastpaced organization.
  • Experience in the financial services, clients' services or real estate industry is an asset.
  • University degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize work.
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in the use of MS Office programs, project management tools with strong tech skills are a must.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills to compose a variety of correspondence and ensure accuracy of material.
  • Must be available outside regular office hours to handle issues as they arise.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and extremely detailed oriented
