Pearce Logistics, a Transport Corp subsidiary, is now hiring Independent Sales Agents in Canada.


Pearce, as an Asset Based Logistics company, we achieve results by demonstrating a high level of initiative and passion providing innovative solutions while maintaining the commitment to customer service excellence.

With Head Office and its operations centralized in Hamilton Ontario, Pearce offers North American surface transportation solutions utilizing our 3PL, Asset and Asset Light services consisting of Dry, Temperature Control, Specialized for both TL and LTL OTR, Intermodal and Warehouse product management.

We operate between and within Canada, U.S.A, and Mexico.

What is Pearce looking for from a Sales Agent?

Relationship
The Independent Sales Agent relationship mirrors that of a traditional Senior Sales professional at the Director level.

After prospecting for new customers, the Agent will work with Pearce operations team to provide the best freight management solutions for the customer.

Once the Sales Agent has closed the account, with the appropriate Pearce direct support if required, Pearce will onboard the customer and assign a dedicated account manager who will act as the customer's liaison with Pearce team providing the committed Asset and Non-Asset operational support.

The Sales Agents responsibility is to continue to maintain and grow the relationship with the customer.


Responsibilities

  • Develop new business
  • Continually prospect and network for new leads
  • Maintain relations with existing clients and develop new relations with prospects
  • Negotiate rates with business owners (prospects and customers)
  • Provide regular feedback to Pearce management regarding the industry market conditions

Requirements:


  • Proven success to create and develop new business
  • Experience selling to business owners, operators, or decision makers
  • B2B sales experience is considered an asset
  • Outstanding communication (written/verbal)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly motivated, driven, business development professional with hunter mentality

Compensation

- Above industry average commission compensation

  • 100% commissioned role paid on Asset and Non-Asset orders.
