The OpportunityResponsibilities of the Role
  • Focus on arbitrage opportunities within North America convertible bonds
  • Maximize portfolio risk-adjusted returns through due diligence and security selection
  • Assess and manage portfolio risks
  • Identify new investment opportunities in convertible arbitrage
  • Monitor and execute investments
  • Support other arbitrage Portfolio Managers
Leadership
  • Support firm goals and objectives
  • Provide clear direction and feedback to the team
  • Mentor and coach the Investment Team
Sales & Marketing
  • Attend client meetings to present market insights
  • Provide investment commentary for reporting
The Qualifications and Experiences Required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hedge funds or banking
  • University degree with a quantitative focus
  • CFA Charterholder preferred
  • Experience in convertible bond arbitrage
  • Quantitative or fundamental modelling skills
  • Proficiency in investment systems
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Collaborative team player
