EXPENSE ADMINISTRATOR - FINANCE

SUMMARY:


The Expense Administrator will be responsible for the global expense reporting system (SAP Concur), including system deployment, ongoing system maintenance and management of the day-to-day operations.

This incumbent will be required to assist in internal and external audits as well as investigate and resolve reconciling items and ensure adherence to internal control processes, accounting policies and procedures.

This position reports into the Finance team, with periodic interaction with HR.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

_Experience:
_


  • Technical and functional knowledge of SAP Concur Expense system preferred
  • Experience managing a commercial credit card program
  • Experience with financial data entry and reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serve as primary administrator of the Concur Travel and Expense system, managing communication within the business for effective control and compliance with company policies
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Concurrelated questions or issues, and escalate to management or technical support as needed
  • Monitor and audit expense reports for accuracy and completeness, and follow up on any discrepancies or issues
  • Processing cash expense reimbursement claims for payment to employees
  • Analyze reports for policy violations, and process approved expense reports
  • Assist with workflow management in Concur, including monitoring unassigned and unapproved transactions
  • Work directly with Concur customer support to resolve systemrelated issues
  • Facilitate user training for new employees on the system, and assist existing employees with routine system issues
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to accounting, payroll, and senior management
  • Review and allocate monthly Concur invoice
  • Assist in the month end close process pertaining to credit card accruals
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned
