Overview:
Jensen Hughes Consulting Canada Ltd.

has an immediate, term job opening (3 month contract with potential to develop into full time employment) for an engineering technologist.

This position is located in Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Today, our expertise extends broadly across closely related risk management fields.

Responsibilities:

Performing go/no go, explosion severity, MIT, MIE, LOC, MEC, LIT testing campaigns in accordance with recognized ASTM Standards.
Direct involvement in the data analysis of the testing results for various materials.
Preparing detailed technical reports of the results of the data analysis for dust explosivity of the tested materials.
Working with clients in North America and worldwide to achieve fire and life safety.
Managing incoming sample data (SDS, sample size, test requirements)
Managing the disposal of unused samples.
