    Jensen Hughes has a new job opportunity for a Process Safety Engineer in our Calgary, AB Office.

    This person will perform, direct and grow engineering service offerings in industrial occupancies, including process hazard analysis (PHA), process safety management (PSM), dust hazard analysis (DHA) and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).

    Conduct or oversee PHA, DHA, QRA and PSM projects
    # Plan and direct process safety audit activities
    # Work with management and other internal BD resources to execute strategic plans
    # Provide training and mentoring to internal staff and new hires
    # Bachelor's degree higher in Chemical Engineering or related, and 10 or more years of related experience and/or training.

    Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Institute of Safety and Health Management (ISHM) or comparable certification strongly preferred.

    Experience with PHA Software.
    Demonstrated knowledge of the fourteen PSM elements, and one or more PHA techniques.

    Industrial safety / hygiene / CSA z767 / CCPS, Electrical safety, Industrial (specialty) ventilation analysis and design, Instrumentation & controls (safety instrumented systems), Emergency planning, Conduct or oversee QRA, including consequence modeling, Willingness to learn fire protection building code discipline and interact with jurisdictional authorities.
