The Role
You will be counted upon to answer a wide variety of questions from across the corporation. You will plan your work, follow change management policies, and document new environments.

Occasionally you will provide 3rd tier technical support for infrastructure related issues and questions with our police customers and their IT staff.

This position is full time in the Ottawa office.

Job Requirements
Cisco networking and Palo Alto next generation firewalls

Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerShell

Microsoft Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication, DNS, and DHCP Services

VMware vSphere, Fusion/Workstation, and RedHat Linux

Intel servers and fibre channel storage equipment

Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

Above average communication skills, both oral and written

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications, or similar training

Work in the office 9am to 5pm Eastern time with flexibility to work from home when required

Key Competencies

Computer administration or computer science, combined with 5+ years of LAN networking
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
An effective listener capable of quickly understanding the requirements
Express oneself in clear concise English writing and speaking
Interact with peers to develop the best way of proceeding
Patience while multitasking
