    If you are seeking a job where you have important responsibilities, this one is for you As a Security Guard in the health care sector, you will ensure high level of customer service in a challenging environment, greeting and providing access to people and directing them to right place. In the Healthcare sector, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers for some of the biggest brands out there We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams. This is a permanent weekend position.

    Permanent positions we are looking to fill:

    • Permanent Position Saturday/Sunday
    • Permanent position Monday-Friday

    What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do ?

    • Interior and exterior foot patrols of the full building
    • Access control at all entry and exit points, ensuring doors are secure
    • Communicate effectively with ability to engage and to de-escalate situations to on-going situations that can happen on site
    • Must provide high level of customer service in a challenging environment, greeting people and directing them to the right place.
    • CCTV camera monitoring
    • Will respond to various site emergencies (codes), and when required, immediately coordinating with the site security, and calling backup in order to ensure security of patients, visitors, staff, property and information.
    • Will need to observe presence of any suspicious person, things, unusual activity, or issues if seen at the site, and respond to the situation, and manageimmediate coordinationand reporting to site security.
    • Incident and daily reporting according to the site requirement and standards.

    Qualifications to be become Security Guard in Winnipeg ?

    • Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license
    • Fluent in English, both written and orally
    • High school education or equivalent
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Experience using a two way radio
    • First Aid/CPR is an asset
    • Experience with security technology based systems and CCTV camera monitoring
    • Comfortable approaching unauthorized individuals
