Job Overview
Meaty Eats is a specialty retailer focusing on Fresh Organic Meats and Charcuterie as well as in house Prepared Foods.
As the owner of the retail operations and reporting the CEO or similar, the Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing retail strategy and for the delivery of retail operations and programs.
The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for the operations of both retail stores, meeting sales targets, setting budgets, managing direct reports, designing and delivering programs, managing food safety and quality as well as maintenance functions.
- Implement retail strategy
- Design, develop, deliver retail operations, programs and functions which meet retail strategy
- Help create and meet sales targets and budgets
- Hire, train, and manage staff
- Design, develop, implement food safety and quality control systems
- Design, develop, implement health and safety programs and procedures
- Own maintenance function
- Assist in opening new locations and launching new operations, programs, functions
- Specialty retail food environment
- Requirement to perform duties and support initiatives outside regular hours and weekends as required
