    Description

    Job Description:

    Education: College/CEGEP

    Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

    1. Establish work schedules and procedures
    2. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
    3. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
    4. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
    5. Monitor personnel workloads and locations
    6. Organize warehouse and work areas
    7. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
    8. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
    9. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
    10. Estimate materials and labour required for production
    11. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations
    12. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
    13. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
    14. Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
    15. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
    16. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
