Stocking and organizing parts in warehouse:
Conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring stock is at correct levels:
Sourcing and ordering maintenance and repair parts:
Handling any external parts in addition to shipping/receiving:
Staging parts for service technicians:
Shipping, receiving and inventory transfers:
Managing inventory and stock movements in ERP system
Requirements:
The Parts Coordinator should possess a combination of technical knowledge, communication skills, and strong organizational abilities:
- Technical knowledge
- ideally, automotive or heavy equipment
- Attention to detail accurately identify parts and ensure that orders are filled correctly.
- Communication skills must be able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other team members, both in person and in writing.
- Customer service
- Contact with vendors and internal departments.
- Organizational skills highly organized, with the ability to manage inventory, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Problem solving skills able to quickly identify and address issues related to parts and inventory management.
- Time management able to manage their time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
