Description

Role Responsibilities

Perform basic setup, calibration and testing, computer assembly, component insertion, and software installation
Responsible for product hardware and software configuration work
Refurbish products including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product
Test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor, and computerrelated accessories
Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
Prepare technical reports
May assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment
Assist with customer technical support when required
Provide product specification, product configuration, and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD SYNNEX customers when required
Assist with bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, LCD monitor)
Hours of work will be
Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am 5:00 pm

Minimum Requirements

1+ year related experience
Experience with electronics and computerrelated products and peripheral equipment
Assembling computer and configuration of peripheral equipment
High school diploma or GED equivalent minimum, computer science related training, postsecondary diploma, certification is an asset
Ability to complete the required technical training certification when needed
Ability to read, comprehend and implement test procedures from written documentation
Ability to review test procedures and understand failure analysis
A+ Certification is an asset
Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
Meet weight lifting requirement of up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Be able to work with precision tolling in small places
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
