Job Summary:
You are an experienced Workface Planner with an Industrial background. You have experience working on Industrial Construction projects and are proficient in utilizing 3D visual aids. You have strong organizational skills and have experience with work packages, project schedules and budgets. You are a problem solver and continuously look for innovative solutions that can be utilized on projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP) from design documentation
  • Collaborate with foremen to understand daily and weekly production goals
  • Create FIWP templates and prepare projectspecific FIWP, including activity determination, resource allocation, risk planning, and quality control
  • Coordinate resource requirements and liaise with resource coordinators
  • Review and ensure accuracy of FIWP
  • Coordinate FIWP execution with field supervision
  • Monitor and control FIWP progress, advising relevant parties
  • Coordinate activities with field supervision, resource coordinators, project controls, quality assurance, other planners, and operations personnel
  • Modify, review, or adjust FIWP as necessary
  • Conduct postmortem analysis on FIWP

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education required; background in construction management or project management preferred
  • Completion of Construction Safety Training Systems training (CSTS)
  • 35 years of related industry experience
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and scheduling reports
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
