We have been helping young children in our community since the summer of Our staff is dedicated to developing a program that will develop positive impact in our community, help the children and families to thrive and develop equitable programming to ensure that this mission is completed.

We are looking for a team who sees our vision and have the motivation to see it through.

The team members hired to do this job will be expected to be creative, self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.

n this position you will need to do the following activities:

Create the marketing and outreach to reach at least elementary school students for the summer. You will be targeting students in Grade 2-
You will decide on the number of cohorts and how many participants will be in each cohort
You will decide on the model in which you would be teaching your program
You manage all the registration and recording of all participants
You will recruit for volunteers to help you in your program
You must be able to use Zoom or Teams as they are the platforms that you will be using
You will train the volunteers and schedule them to ensure they are earning their volunteer hours
You will develop the schedule for both the volunteers and participants and send our the weekly reminders
You must be able to motivate people
You must be able to speak to parents or ask for assistance in this activity to benefit the participants
You must provide a final assessment for all participants when the summer is over.
You must be very organized and detail oriented
All Teacher Assistants will also be assigned other projects on days they are not on a workshop

DIGITAL TEACHING ASSISTANTS
This group will focus solely on digital training of children, they must be comfortable in teaching digital technology to children who may prove to have short attention spans

LITERACY, MATH SCIENCE TEACHING ASSISTANT
This group will be helping children catch up and will also assist children in preparing for the academic year. They will plan all activities that will assist the participants with diverse learning styles. This group will also recommend educational services in the future to children who wants to continue learning
