CHEO RI has an immediate requirement for a Program Coordinator.

The Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) is currently recruiting a full-time Program Coordinator to join our team.

Our organization's mission is to drive advances in Canadian donation and transplantation research and mobilize knowledge so that every wish to donate is fulfilled and transplantation is transformed from a treatment to a lasting and sustainable cure.

The CDTRP Program Coordinator is responsible for executing all communications and event-related activities of the network.

Reporting to the Manager, Patient, Family and Donor Partnerships and Knowledge Mobilization, the role ensures consistency in messaging, content, and in the network visual identity, aligned with the strategic goals of CDTRP.

The Project Coordinator will support knowledge mobilization and communications for research projects and central network activities involving events, visual and graphic design, and dissemination through the CDTRP media platforms and partnership network.

In addition, they assist with material development and dissemination for the promotion and recruitment of studies. They are a main point of contact with partner organizations for collaboration on knowledge mobilization and communication-related tasks.

The CDTRP Program Coordinator works closely with the CDTRP Research Services platform to support projects, assess needs, implement requests, and evaluate success and with the CDTRP Patient, Family, and Donor Platform to coordinate with support for patient, family, and donor partner engagement.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision of Dr.

Dhanani and the CDTRP Manager of Patient, Family and Donor Partnerships and Knowledge Mobilization the Program Coordinator will:

Event Coordination (0.

4 FTE):

  • Leads planning and is responsible for the successful delivery of events in virtual, hybrid, and/or inperson format.
  • Carry out tasks associated with the realization of events (responses to requests for information, sending of documents, logistics, followup with suppliers and partners, registration followup, etc.).
  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects related to event logistics and promotion, from the guest list to the food served, including equipment reservations and promotional strategies.
  • Creation of social media content and communications kit for partners; outreach to external partners as required for event promotion strategies.
  • Coordination of graphic design and presentation of all visual aspects of the event.
  • Coordinate and support speakers, moderators and staff.
  • Onsite presence and logístical management for inperson events.
  • Secure suppliers and personnel as needed.
  • Develop production schedules, production files, technical followup of events to be produced.
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and the network.
  • Work in close collaboration with all individuals and organizations involved in delivering the event.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the event and that all followup, including preparing event reports is completed.
  • Coordination of video editing for recorded events.
Knowledge Mobilization and Communications Coordination (0.

Maintain Communications Channels and Network

  • Create content for social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Community management on social networks (Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Support establishing relationships with communications staff of partner organizations and liaise with them.
  • Propose, collect and evaluate performance indicators of communication and event metrics (Google Analytics, social media, and others).
Provide Support for Research Projects

  • Lead the codevelopment of knowledge mobilization plans, closely collaborating with teams and ensuring their deployment, coordination and followup
