Work Description
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling Tamarack Homes, products and services though the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. He or she will reach business targets using excellent sales and communications skills. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality approach to all employees, customers, subcontractors, managers and suppliers.

All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Tamarack vision, mission, and must comply with all company policies and procedures.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Welcome and being available for guests, present models and floor plans as well as general knowledge of all Tamarack products. Determining customer needs in order to help them find the right product.
  • Managing the sales process, including tracking progress on options, upgrades, and construction, processing all documentation and maintaining open lines of communications with customers and potential buyers.
  • Documenting and recording all potential, current and future transactions.
  • Establishing ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers, maintaining communication and responding to all enquiries and requests for information.
  • Following up on correspondence from guests, realtors and potential buyers.
  • Managing difficult sales situations and overcome buyer's objections.
  • Tracking progress on options, upgrades and construction. Regularly checking in with potential buyers to better understand their needs and next steps.
  • Continuing to learn and maintain product awareness and design options that are available on the various products and financial options for each.
  • Maintenance of all lot files/sales files ensure the timely delivery to the construction and design team.
  • Monitoring model homes to ensure cleanliness, supplies and repairs are well maintained, and ensuring models are ready for presentation.
  • Ensuring sales office is well maintained, cleaned, organized and stocked with the appropriate supplies.
  • Updating inventory files and communicating with the purchasing team to ensure availability on upgrades.
  • Promoting the brand and continue to prospect and find referrals at all times and participating in community engagement and outreach.
  • Daytoday management of direct reports, including ensuring monthly duties of team members are being performed as expected. Mentoring and training staff and preparing shift schedules as required.
  • Other relevant duties may be assigned as required.

Statement of Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in related real estate industry.
  • Experience in town home sales is required.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) enjoys interacting with people.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office & various computer programs.
  • Motivated selfstarter, eager to take initiative and able to drive a process to completion.
  • General understanding of new construction components and assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of closing process for the condo building industry.
  • Integrity, vision, and enthusiasm are essential for this role

  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Stimulating work environment where multitasking is required.
  • Open availability for weekend work as well as holidays. Various hours and shifts are required.
