Situated in historic Kingston, on the shores of scenic Lake Ontario, the Limestone District School Board serves more than 19,000 students in 55 schools and 5 alternative education centres, covering a geographic area of 7,719 square kilometres across the City of Kingston, the Townships of Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, South Frontenac, Addington Highlands, Loyalist, Stone Mills, the Frontenac Islands and the Town of Greater Napanee.


Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent level of education/training and at least 5 years of relevant, related experience in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Project management experience, including experience leading projects in an IT or organizationwide environment considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience leading complex change across organization(s).
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, and continuous improvement orientation with a focus on quality control, security, and system availability.
  • Valid Driver's License, including access to a vehicle to visit all LDSB sites, and attend meetings offsite, as required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as necessary, to support IT initiatives and/or respond to critical incidents.
