    LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is looking for a Medical Lab Technologist to join the team in Toronto, ON.

    As a Medical Lab Technologist at LifeLabs, you'll play a key role in providing accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. By ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in expediting test results, you'll contribute directly to patient well-being and better health outcomes. This position is perfect for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Role Details:

    • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
    • Performing, interpreting, and releasing results while maintaining patient confidentiality
    • Identifying incidents and non-conformities, participating in effective corrective action plans, and driving continuous improvement
    • Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new technology
    • Participating in problem-solving in work organization and workflow

    LifeLabs facilities are recognized as teaching laboratories that foster a culture of knowledge sharing in a collaborative setting. You'll have access to 24-hour medical support through the Medical Science team and Medical Library, as well as opportunities to mentor college and university student placements.

    Requirements:

    • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
    • CMLTO registered
    • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse individuals
    • Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge
    • Effective problem-solving abilities
    • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
