We're seeking an experienced Security Engineer to spearhead the deployment and management of cutting-edge security solutions including EPP, EDR, MTD, and XDR, among others.

You will be joining Sopra Steria's Cybersecurity division (I2S), in our downtown Toronto office located in Financial District.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's cybersecurity posture by deploying, managing, and optimizing a suite of security technologies aimed at protecting data and devices.

Sopra Steria Infrastructure & Security Services (I2S) is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria dedicated to infrastructure, cloud , and cybersecurity activities.

Lead the deployment and configuration of Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Mobile Threat Defense (MTD), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions
As part of support activities on encryption solutions for data protection, knowledge of PGP, AES encryption algorithms and certificate management would be a plus
Manage the onboarding of new assets into security frameworks, ensuring all devices and data are fully protected
Regularly review and update security policies and procedures to align with best practices and emerging threats
Facilitate training sessions on security awareness and best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) preferred
~3+ years' experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on endpoint security, including EPP, EDR, MTD, and XDR technologies
~ Good understanding of encryption algorithms, methods and techniques
~ Strong understanding of network and information security principles and best practices
~ Demonstrated experience in the deployment and management of security solutions and handling security incidents
~ Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
~ English required / French is a plus
