For our location in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada we are looking for an
In-House Production Technician - Bizerba, Canada to support our Bizerba portfolio solutions to customers.

We are seeking a quick learner with strong problem solving and teamwork attributes. In this position, you would be a key part of the Bizerba Manufacturing team.

A successful Production Technician will have a customer focused attitude, drive continuous improvement projects, be a self-starter, and be able to build a culture of quality.

Your tasks

Final preparation and assembly of retail scales
Imaging scales with retail software
Participate in continual process improvement
Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment
Ownership of the Work Cell to keep it organized and productive
Follow all quality processes and procedures as established
Must be able to sit or stand and lift to 50 pounds infrequently
Willing to undertake Measurement Canada Certification program
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
High School Diploma, GED, Trade Degree, or equivalent experience
Oneyear basic mechanical and/or computer repair or related experience preferred
Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lead team projects and work within team projects

Problem Solving

Able to investigate rootcause and suggest workable solutions
Ability to communicate effectively, present and influence credibly at all levels
Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
