Description
Choosing Wisely Canada (CWC) is a national campaign to reduce unnecessary tests and treatments in health care.

CWC inspires and engages health care professionals to take leadership in reducing unnecessary tests, treatments, and procedures, and enables them with simple tools and resources that make it easier to choose wisely.


Duties & Responsibilities:

**- Assisting with the preparation and coordination of meetings and presentations and provide logĂ­stical support (e.g., develops agenda and power point presentations, records meeting notes, books meeting rooms, sets up audio-visual equipment, orders catering) Organizing activities for team members, including scheduling appointments, meetings, conferences, and other engagements based on an understanding of prior commitments and priorities Taking meeting minutes Helping to coordinate travel and logistics for CWC-related events General office duties e.g., mailings, courier services, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory Collection, transcription, and entry of campaign related data into the CWC database Conducting literature searches Processing reimbursement requests Responding to general inquiries received by CWC
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a recognized Office Administration program or equivalent with 2 years of progressively responsible office administrative experience, preferably in a health care setting OR demonstrable equivalent of specialized education and experience
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail when composing, typing, and proofing materials
  • Ability to independently solve problems and manage tasks
  • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple demands in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload
  • Professionalism and selfmotivation
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and online webinar platforms
  • Fluency in French (reading and writing) considered an asset
