Description

About the Role:

The role is part of the second line in the three lines of defense model and focuses on enhancing the Information Security Risk Management program. Responsibilities include independently reviewing, challenging, and reporting on Sun Life's management of operational risks.

Responsibilities:

Lead and maintain the Information Security Risk Management program
Stay updated on industry best practices
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Apply creative problem-solving skills
Aggregate and author information security risk information for reporting

Requirements:

5 years of experience in cyber information security and/or risk management
Certifications like CISSP
Strong knowledge of global information security standards and best practices
Understanding of Risk and Control Self Assessments, Operational Risk Events, Key Risk Indicators, and Scenario Analysis
Effective communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in information security processes and controls
