Scheduling Assistant - Barrie, Canada - Victoria Village Manor
Description
We are currently looking for a Scheduling Assistant to join our team Reporting to the Staffing Coordinator, the Scheduling Assistant will be responsible for assisting with scheduling of staff to ensure effective, safe deployment of staff to promote resident care.
Synopsis of the Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists all components of scheduling within the home's departments;
- Documents staff absences, shifts worked and other paperwork related to staffing;
- Fill unfilled shifts according to the collective agreement;
- Perform daily use of the computer including Internet Explorer, Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Performs daily use of Staff Schedule Care and Staff Stat scheduling software;
- Maintains personal accountability for completion of daily tasks as assigned;
- Assists in coverage of reception staff as needed;
- Promote a positive working environment;
- Fosters positive customer service with staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of office experience;
- Experience in health care an asset;
- Scheduling experience including use of a scheduling software program;
Job Types:

Pay:
$19.05-$22.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
