Job Description Summary:


This Position is responsible Safety Policy implementation and adherence for the mobiles and on-sites, which includes training of employees to best practices, safety related programs and reporting.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Establish, implement, and provide training for the Continuous Improvement program across mobiles and onsites. Monitor for sustainability through, coaching and communication.
  • Main contact for Procor involvement of any Apprenticeship programs for the mobiles and onsites.
  • Determine the best delivery channel internal knowledge or external resources, face to face or distance learning.
  • Identify new Health & Safety or technical training needs.
  • Provides training and certifications for all mobiles and onsites.
  • Retain & update existing training and training tools.
  • Arranges for certification of work to be completed on mobiles and onsites.
  • Administer the Health & Safety program to all mobiles and onsites.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:


  • Confident leadership, management, coaching and organizational skills.
  • Experience in safety legislation, environmental legislation, and training.
  • C.R.S.P. designation.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces (if required), around machinery, and in conditions where there are loud noises and fumes.
  • Adhere to Procor's health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy) and wear the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner, including respirators (full and half face), hearing protection, eye protection, steel toed boots, and fall protection.

Pay:
$60,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
