Salary:
$21.02
**Rate will be $1 less during probationary period - 600 hours worked


Shifts Available and Hours:


  • We are a unionized company
  • New hires may be required to rotate shifts (Midnights, Afternoons and Day shift the frequency of the rotation will be determined by the manager)
  • Pension with Canada Wide Industrial Pension Plan employer and employee contributions (Employer $1.87 per hour worked, Employee $1.05 per hour worked)
  • Vacation 2 weeks as per the Collective Agreement to start, after 5 years, increases to 3 weeks***
    Required Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year Manufacturing Experience desirable

Other requirement:


  • Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

Responsibilities:


  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices are in place and notify supervision of any concerns;
  • Maintain all records on hob assignments in a correct and timely manner on paper as well as in the computer;
  • Other duties as assigned.
