JOB PURPOSE
Marketing and Business Support AG is a global organization that supports the procurement of indirect spends across 3 main portfolios, namely Marketing, IT, Business Services (HR & Travel, Workplace, Outsourcing, etc).
This role provides finance value partnering to portfolios and specialises in Cash methodology and Marketing portfolio. It's the lead role in the team for Reporting Insights & Analytics on Cash.
The role requires to lead the Finance agenda and be an effective co-creator of Procurement agenda through effective leadership and business savvy judgment, drive and influencing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- End to end value partnering (i.e. be the CFO) for the key Procurement initiatives in the respective Portfolio
o Provide end to end finance support for key transformational and or simplification projects
o Provide end to end Finance support for CPM (Collaborative procurement model)
- Deliver MBS Financial targets (Cost and Cash): Hold MBS Proc accountable for the delivery and establish strong links with Procurement and Other Finance Professionals (UniOps, Procurement Performance Team)
- Lead MBS Cash workstream for all MBS Procurement portfolios (i.e. establish tools, reporting dashboards, regular governance forums and performance management with detailed insights for all MBS Procurement teams)
- Digitalize and automate the operational reporting and unlock time from the team to increase value partnering
- Network with colleagues across the global business organizations and functional areas (Supply Chain, Marketing, ZBB and Indirect) and develop relationships required to be an effective ambassador for MBS Finance
- Ensure that the procurement organization has adequate financial acumen and understanding of policies, procedures and controls through regular and effective training and presentation of relevant finance initiatives, policies and procedures
- Handle projects or work assignments that may be assigned by the line manager in support of the overall MBS procurement performance
- Drive the continuous improvement and leverage of information technology in MBS to improve Cash analytics tools and Commercial guidelines
ALL ABOUT YOU
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related areas
- 510 years financial experience in a comparable role preferably in FMCG sector
- Strategic intent and passion for performance excellence
- Advances analytical skills combines with business savvy judgement skills
- Excellent communications skills in English (spoken/written) any other language is a plus
- Excellent influencing skills with wide variety of senior stakeholders
- Confidence in being a cocreator of MBS agenda
- Business Process design and management
