Boundary Electric is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team


The Sales Representative will work closely with our Director of Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for quoting and selling electrical components, building, and maintaining customer relationships, following up with quotes, staying up to date with data management within ERP system, sourcing inventory, and following up with internal departments to meet customer requests.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing them with ongoing support, product updates, and relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand customer requirements, specifications, and project details to offer appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, including field sales representatives, to coordinate sales efforts, share customer insights, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals, and contracts to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, update sales activities, and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings to effectively communicate product differentiators and value propositions to customers.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge through selfstudy, attending product training, and staying informed about industry advancements.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to address any postsales issues, resolve customer complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, including revenue goals and customer acquisition/retention metrics.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:


  • Previous experience in an inside sales role within the industrial transformer and electrical sales industry is an asset but not a requirement, training will be provided.
  • Customercentric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building longterm customer relationships.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fastpaced sales environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools for managing leads, tracking sales activities, and generating reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in preparing quotes, proposals, and other sales documents.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, staying informed about product updates, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting crossfunctional initiatives and sharing knowledge.
  • Ability to work full time.

$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
