The Opportunity
The Material Handlers duties include loading and unloading materials, both incoming and outgoing of the facility.

They are responsible for maintaining the workflow in the factory or warehouse by preparing orders for shipment, storing materials, assisting in taking inventory, and operating the machinery required to safely handle and transport items throughout the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to regularly lift heavy objects
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery such as Forklifts an AWP's
  • Standing and walking long periods of times
  • Store materials in appropriate areas
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Track inventory levels and make recommendations for purchases when supply is low
  • Comply with safety regulations
What You Need

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of warehouse/ shipping / receiving experience is preferred
  • Valid forklift license is an asset
  • Ability to safely lift 4060lbs
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt well to changing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this position
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn our inventory management system
Shift Overview


Day shift: 6:30am-3:00pm

Compensation
Starting rate of $22.00
