    Department: Fleet Maintenance - Truck Shop

    Location: Nepean, ON

    Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm - with flexibility

    Compensation Range: $39.00/hourly

    What Will You Do?

    • Service and inspect all Erb trailers, trucks, and tractors, coordinating with operations and the Shop Supervisor.
    • Repair trucks, trailers, and equipment as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
    • Document all repairs in the maintenance system and complete inspections promptly.
    • Handle departmental calls, make repair decisions, and communicate with the Shop Supervisor as necessary.
    • Ensure knowledge of tools and equipment for Erb equipment repairs.
    • Assist in property maintenance, shop cleaning, and equipment movement.
    • Complete necessary documentation for safety inspections and road test vehicles when needed.
    • Communicate with dispatch daily to prioritize equipment availability.
    • Follow shop procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.
    • Perform any other assigned duties.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Occasional staff supervision, apprentice teaching, and training.
    • Specialize in technical repairs and maintenance areas.
    • Interact with Drivers and Vendors as required for a safe work environment.

    Who Are We Looking For?

    • Minimum two years of heavy equipment repair experience with electronic diagnostic tool usage.
    • Class 310T Truck and Coach Licence required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TMT, and leadership and organizational skills.
    • Ability to remain composed under pressure, with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate honesty, diplomacy, trustworthiness, and a positive attitude.
