Looking for a residential Level 1 or 2 Carpentry Apprentice local to Victoria. This is a full-time, long term work opportunity with a team of 5 other Carpenters.Benefits:

- 4% vacation time paid out every pay period
- 5 sick days a year
Responsibilities:
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, jackhammers, circular saws, reciprocating saws and other tools as directed
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Take personal responsibility for safety for you and your peers
- Understand drawings, specifications and written instructions to determine method and sequence of assembling parts
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials
- Be able to take direction and work on your own
- Additional duties as required
Job Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a carpenter apprentice
- Must be physically fit
- Hard working, punctual and willing to work over time if needed
- Comfortable with working on heights
- Fall protection would be an asset
- Blueprint experience would be an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
