Looking for a residential Level 1 or 2 Carpentry Apprentice local to Victoria. This is a full-time, long term work opportunity with a team of 5 other Carpenters.

Responsibilities:


  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, jackhammers, circular saws, reciprocating saws and other tools as directed
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site
  • Take personal responsibility for safety for you and your peers
  • Understand drawings, specifications and written instructions to determine method and sequence of assembling parts
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials
  • Be able to take direction and work on your own
  • Additional duties as required

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a carpenter apprentice
  • Must be physically fit
  • Hard working, punctual and willing to work over time if needed
  • Comfortable with working on heights
  • Fall protection would be an asset
  • Blueprint experience would be an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:
