TYPICAL DUTIES OF A Design engineer (FEA) specialized in hull structures
AT
SONOVISION:
Perform structural analysis using NASTRAN/Patran, ANSYS, NX-Advanced Simulation.
Mechanical/structural design engineering of structural systems to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Perform advanced computer simulations of vehicles and subsystems.
Conduct research of new simulation techniques applicable to products.
Write technical reports, prepare technical information to support bid and proposal activities.
Provide support for R&D validation testing (i.e. support test plan/report)Plan, organize, and maintain records of progression to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget.
Manipulation of CAD models using CAD image manipulation software.
- Support new product development with simulations and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptability and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and accuracy.
