About This Role
The Partnership Lead is a full-time field-based position dedicated to drive the appropriate use of Biogen brands and services, improve patient journey to care and customer satisfaction, ultimately growing Biosimilars (BBU) revenue within the assigned territory


You will act as Biogen's main point of contact with BBU points of care, identifying account needs, opportunities and defining the appropriate action plan in collaboration with cross-functional partners - Marketing, Medical and Market Access - ensuring coordinated customer engagement.

Utilize resources internally to analyze territory performance, identifying customer needs, defining action plans, implementing local marketing strategies, and organizing face to face, virtual and other interactive digital channels with the Health Care Professional.

Ensure all interactions and activities, both internal and external are in-line with all compliance regulations and territory budgets


What You'll Do

Achieving Sales Targets through Digital and Data Literacy:

  • Identify a blended approach to all future customer engagement using a multi-channel tactic which balances both face to face and digital interactions.
  • Delivery of sales goals set by the organization.
  • Prioritizes activities that drive market share.
  • Applies marketing and business strategy/tactics in order to maximize sales outcomes.
  • Use of all applicable IVAs and other digital tools & technology to be used to maximize all future sales targets and goals.
  • Consistently operates in the professional selling approach.

Customer Understanding to enhance Business Planning:

  • Develops and executes a strategic account plan that includes prioritized territory goals.
  • Analyzes data to identify viable opportunities and competitor activity.
  • Coordinates and utilizes available resources (plans and organizes regional events, programs, Virtual and Face to face meetings).
  • Understands and leverages business analytics to maximize regional opportunities.

Leveraging and coordinating resources by understanding the Customer Journey:

  • Takes lead role in mobilizing resources in support of customer needs.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and crossfunctional partners to advance programs and initiatives.
  • Works alongside brand leads to provide relevant materials and programs.
  • Is responsible for impactful and appropriate communication with HCPs and within the team and organization.
  • Delivers both face to face and virtual and meetings according to omnichannel account strategy.

Maintain best in class knowledge around digital health trends and technologies:

  • Demonstrates industry-leading understanding of disease state, products (Biogen and competition), clinical practices, market dynamics, and healthcare systems.
  • Proactively seeks external opportunities for learning, including conferences, seminars, and professional associations.
  • Participates actively in training to acquire and advance knowledge.
  • Is seen as the internal and external expert and is used as internal resources for daytoday questions.

Regulatory and administrative responsibilities:


  • Keep timely documentation (the following list is not limited to):
  • Expense reports
  • Monthly reviews
  • Compliance related tasks and SOPs
  • CRM system inputs
  • Adverse event reporting aligning to drug safety.

Who You Are


You are passionate about making a difference and have demonstrated capability for interdisciplinary/team work as well as ability to work independently and productively.

You are known for being accountable and someone that has a strong detail orientation and problem solving capabilities.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible and successful field sales achievements in a competitive subspecialty/ biotech market, or related combination of skills and experience. Ophthalmology or biosimilars experience strongly preferred.
  • Works independently while collaborating proactively with both crossfunctional partners and other colleagues in the assigned territory
  • Establish effective relationships with both internal and external customers and gains their trust and respect
  • Resultdriven individual motivated by driving and exceeding annual brand and franchise performance objectives with proven and sustained track record.
  • Able to set up and execute individual customer omnichannel engagement plans.
  • Establishes metrics and measure results against goals, draws conclusions in order to enable a datadriven decision making.
