Inside Sales Coordinator to join our
Saskatoon office.

***As a key member of the Inside Sales team at the Saskatoon branch, you will be required to coordinate and process Inside Sales orders, provide technical knowledge and detailed product specifications to meet customer needs. This position will focus on supporting the agricultural and light gauge division.

This position reports directly to the Customer Experience Manager.


Key Accountabilities:

Sales Growth:
Driving sales growth byeducating, offering / upselling other Vicwest products to accompany customers' orders.

Order Coordination:

Maintaining contact with customers to ensure orders are processed, produced and shipped to the correct destination, on time and in-spec.

Working with internal departments to ensure there are no delays in the sales process.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Process sales orders by checking for correct price, profile, description, quantity, and credit terms.
  • Interface with customers, field sales, and manufacturing on matters dealing with quotations, scheduling, delivery dates and shipping.
  • Provide quotations from lists of materials or small material takeoffs.
  • Upselling other Vicwest products.
  • Complete paperwork/forms to record required sales information.
  • Maintain the appropriate customer files and reports.
  • Perform accurate and speedy data entry.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field an asset
  • 13 years of experience in inside sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • 35 years of experience in customer service, experience in building materials or construction would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, handle timelines and play close attention to details.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient is MS Office and SAP
