_What your team does:
_
Redstone is an industry-leading agency focused on delivering outsourced services to charities and not-for-profit professional and trade associations. We do full cycle bookkeeping including; the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages, cash flow forecasting and variance analysis. Taking on the role as their internal finance team, we manager our clients' bank and investment manager relationships, A/R, A/P, payroll, budget creation, government filings, and more
**_What you'll do:

Client Oversight and Team Leadership
You will be responsible for overseeing the following for 4-6 clients, by supporting an Accountant as they complete their monthly/quarterly annual duties for the client
This includes:
- Taking a handson approach to team leadership. Be willing to jump in and support the team
- Review internal financial reporting; provide feedback to the Accountant
- Establish client relationships built on trust and outstanding customer service
- Prepare timelines for the team using asana and ensure deadlines are met and status updates are communicated with the team / client
- Attend board meetings and offer support for the Treasurer as needed
- Support the budget preparation and Board approval process
- Support the client's annual review / audit engagement and respond to queries from the independent external auditors
- Review payroll and T4s
- Update bank signatories, address, tokens, release EFT payments
- Ensure CRA and RQ filings are completed
- Document policies and procedures
- Other tasks as required
Client Support
You will act as the main point of contact for all client needs on 4-6 clients, performing the following duties:
- Liaise with the clients' Board and management and provide outstanding customer service
- Work closely with client teams and other contacts (internal and external)
- Plan monthly deadlines in asana and ensure deadlines are met
- Book all revenues and expenses
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and revenue reconciliations
- Process clients' accounts payable
- Process payroll for clients' salaried staff and prepare T4s
- Bank deposits
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting package including cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
- Prepare and file routine government filings
- Monthend and yearend closing procedures
- Assist with the preparation of the client's annual budget
- Work with clients' independent external auditors as they complete audit / review engagements
- Update signing authorities with banks and government bodies
- Board/committee meeting attendance. Ensure action items related to finance are addressed.
- Execution of Board initiatives and support where needed

- You have a university or college degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field
- You have a minimum of 4 years of previous fullcycle accounting experience
- You are comfortable with MS Office and a strong Excel user (including pivots, xlookups, etc)
- You are an experienced QuickBooks Desktop / QuickBooks Online user
- You are a critical thinker who is passionate about process improvements and finding efficiencies
- You have excellent communication skills and pay strong attention to detail
- You are proactive and strive to provide excellent customer service
- You enjoy mentoring, learning new tools, and sharing your knowledge
_Serious bonus points if:

- You have experience working at an Agency, and/or the Events and Association Management industry
- You have experience with notforprofit accounting
- You are bilingual in English / French
Compensation:
$70,000 - $85,000 base salary based on experience + eligible bonuses
