You have:


  • A university degree in finance, administration, or commerce, or acceptable combination of education and experience. A professional accounting designation is an asset, as is certification or training in project management and/or change management.
  • Proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • A minimum of six (6) years of progressive management and supervisory experience encompassing grant administration, financial management, human resource management, and resource planning and monitoring in a management information system environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate, forecast, and present financial information.
  • Experience managing projects and leading change.
  • An understanding of the international development context.
  • An enhanced knowledge of the policies, procedures and practices governing grant administration.

  • Experienced in establishing, managing, and monitoring relationships with diverse and experienced stakeholders.***
    You are interested in:
  • Managing a team of front
  • line Grant Officers across the Centre's Ottawa and regional offices.
  • Providing expert advice related to grant administration and financial management throughout the life cycle of the Centre's projects/programs, including monitoring performance to budget and advising on corrective measures.
  • Overseeing all activities related to grant administration, including financial controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Participating in key strategic and operational discussions and decisions on policies and procedures, systems, and human resources, and performing a leadership role in managing change.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
