    At AtkinsRéalis is currently seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Retube, Inspection and Maintenance Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects on the Fuel Handling team, responsible for executing work packages and projects related to machine design and other disciplines.

    Your role within the team

    • Perform conceptual and detail design engineering on mechanical equipment and systems, as well as process related systems.
    • Prepare design documentation such as requirements, specifications, test procedures, and more.
    • Review design reports, analysis, calculations, and drawings.
    • Conduct design meetings and provide guidance to junior engineers.
    • Provide engineering support and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
    • Consult on engineering quotation requests and purchase requisitions.

    The ideal candidate

    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible for registration.
    • Knowledge of mechanics, materials, and relevant codes is beneficial.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • CAD experience is an asset.
